Simple Pizza Sauce
This recipe is so simple and very quick to make, maybe 10 minutes at most.
3 Tablespoons of Olive oil
1 Tablespoon of crushed/pressed garlic
1/2 teaspoon of dried Oregano
1 tin (440g) peeled tomatoes
1 teaspoon of salt
Ground black pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon of chopped Parsley
In a frying pan on a medium temperature add the olive oil, garlic and oregano, allow to cook for a minute and add the tomatoes, using a wooden spoon mash the tomatoes for consistancy while cooking.
Add the salt and pepper and simmer for about 5 minutes total, take off the heat and add the parsley.
Spread over your pizza base and enjoy.
Carb Count 17g total (based on tinned tomatoes at 3g per 100g and 3 cloves of garlic).
